Looking for a multisource RSS link creator.

  • Okay, I’m going to be very specific: what I’m looking for is some plugin/add-on/hack for wordpress or other php, that will allow me to specifiy multiple RSS feeds, will sort by date, then show the title and post link of the most recent posts on those feeds (intended for the sidebar). I tried CG, but I could not force it into showing titles only. It always tried to post the whole article/post.

    Anyone find a good one?

    I ran into the same thing until I realized something about CG.

    The cache time on CG is something like an hour. Refreshing your browser doesn’t clear it, as it’s cached on the server. So, you need to go into the cache directory (probably using FTP) and delete the old cache after making a change to the feed output. CG will display titles only.

    That said, if you want something else to try, RSSlib is fairly easy to use.

    If you don’t initially set it up for titles only and you set it up to cache, you will probably run into the same situation.
