• I’ve been running a plugin on my site called “WordPress Amazon Associate” to handle linking to Amazon. It died some time ago, and I’m finally getting round to fixing it.

There are a number of Amazon plugins available, but I’m finding it difficult to find one that does what I need. I’ve customised my site using Advanced Custom Fields to associate a list of books (with their ASINs) with particular pages.

All I need is a plugin that I can call as a php function from within a template that figures out which amazon site to link to, attaches my affiliate code, and shows the link. I don’t need any fancy features in the back end. I’m neutral about using the Amazon API to generate rich content links.

It needs to be free to use, but I’m ok with the sort where the plugin vendor’s id is used instead of mine for a small % of links.

    Does anybody have any recommendations?
