Looking for a newspaper theme

    Hello! I hope this is the right forum to post this question. I’ve been looking for a newspaper theme for some days now. Yesterday I had 60 tabs opened in my browser, just looking for the right theme. Right now I have about 39 tabs open, and I still can’t find what I’m looking for.

    I’ve always wanted to create my own blog. At the moment, I have no idea what to write about. I don’t really want to write about my personal life. I want to write about things I care about. News, technology, nature, politics, etc, etc.
    That’s why I think a newspaper theme would fit me perfectly, where I can put everything nicely into categories

    At the moment I think I’ve created up to 10 WordPress pages. 3-4 of them are personal blogs. Unfortunately, they got inactive. I must say that I’ve found the perfect theme for my page. I love Goodnews and Newspaper. The only disadvantage is the price: $58. It’s not just that I can’t afford it, but I have no idea if I’m still using the blog in 4 months. As I said, my other 3-4 personal blogs are kind of inactive, and I’m afraid this will be inactive soon too. That’s why I don’t want to buy something really expensive yet.

    If I know it will grow huge, I will buy Goodnews or Newspaper. In the meantime, I want a free (or a cheap – up to $15) theme, but I can’t find anything close to Goodnews or Newspaper. That’s why I’m asking you this question.

    I really hope someone here can help me!

    So not really the best place to look for commercial theme advice.

    I’d actually suggest you start with a free theme from here – that way you don’t invest any money before knowing that you will use it. And you can get help here if need be :)!

    I’m sorry for the misunderstanding. English is not my native tongue, but I willt ry once more:

    I want to buy Goodnews or Newspaper when I know I will use my blog. In the meantime, I want a free theme that looks like Goodnews or Newspaper ??

    I think it’s worth forking out a bit of money for a nice looking theme – if it looks professional, and you are getting a good rate of engagement because of that, you’ll be encouraged to continue the blog! Jarida is one of the best premium themes – there’s a few here too

    Otherwise there’s a free news theme called Resolution by kopatheme which looks pretty nice for a free theme
