Plugin recommendation: pick X out of avaible attributes

Greetings!

I am looking for a plunger that allows me to have the customer select any number of attributes (like colors) from the avaible ones.

We are currently using a product configurator plugin, it works, but it took some js fiddling and it’s really slows down our site.

So the overall solution is a plugin/code that lists the available colors as options, for example:
Black, White, Blue, Red, Green, Yellow
and you simply click on any of the colors you want to select.

for example you can select 4 of the 6 available colors
Black, White, Blue, Red, Green, Yellow

also if you click on the already selected color, it removes the selection, and let’s you pick another color.

If you picked the required nuber of color from the list, the other color options are disabled.

So yeah, any idea how to achieve it / any plugin recommendation?

– I already tried many swatches plugin, however, you can’t really do that with them
– can be code
– must be lightweight
– any other idea how to achieve this
