Looking for a Popup/iframe/box out of image plugin/widget

Dear reader,

I need some help finding the right plugin or widget or code to achieve the following.

I want to build a page with images on them, once someone presses one of the images a sort of popup should apear with detailed information on that “image”
If it could be an iframe of an existing page or post that would be even better.

i’ve included an image of how i envision it on our webiste.
