Something along the lines of the HellYeahDude blog that organizes the blog posts where the post information such as date and comment, etc. are listed to the left side of the post and the content and content title are on the right.

    Thank you in advance.

  • Hey whats up man,
I am the owner of hellyeahdude.com
It probably would have been easier if you just sent me an email.
Can I ask what you would like to use the theme for?
And, with some heavy modifying, you should be able to accomplish the same thing with Derek Punsalan’s October Special Theme

ah, amazing! i’m actually reading up on wpdesigner.com’s “create a theme” tutorial to try and get the hang of it myself. i just really like the organization of that type of post. i originally noticed it with draplin‘s blog.

i am currently going to redesign my blog/site and i wanted to see if i could base a new design off that idea. but during the process i ran into wpdesigner.com’s tutorial so i’m hooked on it! i’ll make sure to check out derek punsalan’s theme.

    thanks for the link!

    p.s. im digging hellyeahdude.com!

Not to spoil it or anything, but WPdesigner rarely talks about grid design and fibonacci’s golden rule… which the current theme works with both… if you don’t follow the grid design you will most likely not like the look…
You should dig into the archives of HYD a little more..

subtraction.com – great source for fib and grid style writeups

thank you, our purpose is to get rid of those bullshit blogs who only tell others information that doesn’t help them.. I am not accusing or anything, but I don’t find WPDesigners write-ups to be very resourceful or informative the nature they should be…

Again, you need to look into grid style and fibonacci sequences in order to understand the style better. You can email me for more information:

i definitely understand. this is the first time running into wpdesigner.com so i can’t really tell you if i enjoy the daily reads or not. as for the tutorial, i just wanted to familiarize with myself with the layout and organization of wordpress. i did grab the .pdf from wpcandy that lists all the php commands and what they stand for which has also helped me a bunch.

as for grid structures, i’m definitely a critic as i am a graphic designer more so than a coder. i have ran into subtaction.com a few times and i do enjoy the look and style of the website. i have yet to check a few reads but i’ll make sure to do so.

thanks for the resources and input.
