    OK here goes.

I need to pick some brains out there more intone with WordPress than my own.
    I have an commerce site.
I sell a few thousand products.
I get daily spreadsheets from suppliers.
My problem is I can’t go through the 2000 lines of excell on a daily basis and because of that stock that is out of stock or that comes back in stock I miss.
I am looking for a way to automatically upload the information that is relevant to my site from the spread sheet directly to my site so that I stop selling stuff that is out of stock.

I would also like the site to be able to create a spreadsheet of what stock I have listed on my site.
Does anyone have any experience with this and thus some good advice as to what plugins (if any) cover this?
    Thanks guys.

  • Hi,

You didn’t mention what plugin you are using no your wordpress site for eCommerce?

If your plugin allows CSV import then just create an empty template with column names and when you get your list, simply add data and import it in database.

Hey there a2hostinglk. Did you mean what theme am I running?
I am using mega shop child theme.
I seem to be able to import via csv but i don’t seem to be able to export doing the same?
    Am I missing something?
Will a csv file allow me to just import a new csv file with some new data and it will top up the prices or stock level without re-adding the entire stock list?

    Thanks

yes. And a theme of mega shop theme child

Thanks for confirming that its WooCommerce thats being used in this case.

This being the case, in the WP Dashboard, under Products > All Products, there is an “Export” button which will export the products to CSV.

Link to Descriptive screenshot of the export button:

Will you let us know how this goes?

    Hey Mjassen.

Ok my WP theme does not have the export function.
I finally found WP All export which seems to be doing the trick.

    Thanks though
