Looking for a WordPress Magician for Zine Project

  • Hello, My name is John Freeborn. I am a designer who dabbles in code. I need some assistance with a project. I beleive that I could use wordpress to do it. I was using php and mySQL, and I have some structre in the works. Now, after some inital sucess with wordpress I’m rethinking everything.

    The idea for the site is pretty straight forward. I want to create a site that catalogs and reviews zines. (paper ones, not web zines or blogs) I will have a handful or editors/reviewers that will write the reviews. There is another non-dynamic section of the site, that is just old html, but could grown into something.

    i’m getting so tired of this.

    ladydelaluna – following discussions on the mailing list we took a stance that while people could post in the manner of the OP here they should leave an email address. We are also wanting people to make use of the WP-Pro mailing list for all work involving cash.

    The reasons are more than I can go into here – though the mailing list archives carry it all – but it comes down to the forums not becoming a bidding ground, for users to not think that they have to offer money in order to get help (because if people think money is to be made then we’ll get the wrong people here for all the wrong reasons) and to keep all matter commercial where they should be – which is private between individuals.

    It’s nothing personal against anyone either seeking to pay for help or people wanting to make cash by working for it.

    I hope you can see this side of things…

    hmmm. i don’t know many magicians who work for free… this project seems fairly complex as far as making wp mods go… good luck with finding someone.
