Looking for an Search Form Plugin

I’m a newbie and I′m looking for an easy to understand advanced search plugin, to search by dropdownmenue in PORTFOLIO Categories and Tags.I got 150 portfolio pages, where different items all have different categories (the names) and some common tags. So i want to filter search result by categories and tags. I tried WP Custom Fields Search (could′t get that to work), WordPress Meta Data & Taxonomies Filter (MDTF) (complicated and did’t show results) and I was using Profi Search Form, but stopped working with Portfolio Sides, works fine with woo and posts.Thank you.
