Looking for Automatic Image Fitting/Aligning/Sizing – No White/Wasted Space

  • I’m looking for any kind of existing plugin (or code/tutorial) that takes a group of images (or linked thumbnails) and aligns them, re-sizes them, (perhaps even crops them!), such that there is no extra white space.

    Examples of what I mean: Google Image Search results, or certain tumblr themes.

    Ever seen something like this? Thanks!
