Looking for customizer drag n drop plugin

  • Hello. I hope I’m putting asking this in the correct forum.

    I’m looking for a plugin that facilitates drag and drop of images onto a page. Sort of a customizer. The idea is that the site user can drag and drop images onto a picture frame. The images should then be scaled to fit the frame.

    Does anybody know of a plugin that can do this? Or anything that resembles it.

    I’ve added a quick illustration of the idea. I hope it makes sense.

  • Hi there, I haven’t found exactly this functionality on its own. Things like this may be available in some page builders — but they come with a lot of other parts and may slow down a site.

    You may want to check out the Gutenberg plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/gutenberg/), which enables the ability to drag and drop images directly into a page. The WordPress core team is working toward making Gutenberg the new default interface, so it’s expected to become part of core, quite possibly within the next six months.
