Looking for help in developing standalone admin page block editor.

I want to learn how to build a custom block editor in an admin page that can be opened and saved from a one of a list of links to the content on that page. Basically a CRUD and in a plugin. I find the tutorial on the WordPress site too high of a skill level or simply leaves out the “tutorial” aspect and is more a how and tell of someone’s coding project. I really need the basics to set up the project and the information to break the learning curve ice as I am a pretty good WP programmer at the plugin level.

I would be interested in counseling paid or not or references to tutorials or courses that actually teach.
