Looking for new hosting service

Hello all,

I have a couple of clients who I am hosting on Media Temple. I have had nothing but problems with them. Lots of downtown which surprised me, then they went and changed all the MySQL passwords for security reasons which was a huge pain to have to go and update everything. Especially for sites I don’t actively deal with. And now finally the huge infection of the redirect script that was inserted into lots of WP sites. They didn’t even bother to mention this to us and took the client to notice that the site was infected. Just seems when a bunch of your sites get infected from apparently an internal source, you’d mention it.

Anyway, I am looking for a new host. Personally, I have been happy with 1and1 for the past ten years. They do get some downtown, but strangely, much less than MT in my experience. Another I’m looking at is Crucial Hostings’ Split-Shared (https://www.crucialwebhost.com). They are a Magento host and since that beast needs so many resources I’m thinking they must be pretty robust.

So who do you like from the “better” webhosts out there? Thanks!
