Looking for Picture PlugIn

  • Hello!

    I’m looking for a simple picture plug in.

    #1 I want to be able to add pictures though Write Post.

    #2 to have an option to get a pictures from the list of FTP uploaded pictures and use them in the post.

    #3 I also would like to have the thumbnail Icon on the sidebar, where pictures will change randomly. Something like my.opera.com photo thumbnail. I really like the opera Photo slideshow on the sidebar.

    If it is a matter of several plugins please tell me the names of plugins so I could get them.

    Hello. It sounds like most of the functionality that you are seeking is already available through the WordPress administration section.

    #1 You can upload files on the write post screen – just scroll down on the page and you should see a box with a blue bar on the top that contains a form that allows for upload of multiple types of files.

    #2 A list of all uploaded files can be viewed and “sent to post” by clicking on the “Browse All” link that is in the blue bar that I mentioned above.

    #3 – Not sure about this – nothing that I know of exists. Sounds like a great idea for a widget though.

    got the number #1 but #2 I meant to have an option to recall all pictures that were uploaded through FTP to the server. You upload 20 pictures to particular Dir and then when you write a post you get those pictures from the list. Not the way I do it now, upload make long URL etc.

    As for the #3 I thought someone have done it already. It is really great thing.
