Looking for plugin

Im looking for a plug that will allow me to approve people registering before they can login. Like in a forum. someone registers it sends them an email and they approve or reject. I know there is a section in general settings that says” allow anyone to register” when i uncheck that the option to register themselves goes away. I dont want that. I just want the ability to approve or deny someone access. Any help would be awesome. Thanks in advance.
