Looking for plugin: Rotating posts/portfolio like OS X finder

    I have been looking everywhere that I can think of. As I am not a native speaker I might just not be able to select the proper words in order to make my search successful.

    I am looking for a carousel that is capable of rotating posts or portfolio-items or images in a not-just-slider way. I admire sliders myself but in this case we are looking for a meery-go-round type of plugin. The featured-image and the excerpt of a post/portfolio shall pass by like on a merry-go-round. If you click on it the according post/portfolio-item will appear preferably in a lightbox.

    If you know a plugin that can do it – even if it were only for images, please let me know.
