looking for plugin to display posts from category

im looking for a plugin that i can use to display posts from a certain category within another pages content.

I found one called “list category posts” but all this displays is a list of links of the post titles. I’m hoping for an image with maybe some of the post text along with the title.

I’ll post back if i find one, but please share if you know a good one already.
