    Hello to the readers!

I’m a new comer to WooCommerce and shortcodes.

I’ve been using the products ids= “18245,18336,18550,10992,” Orderby=”price” shortcode to great results.

There are some instances where this doesn’t quite fit what I’m trying to do, such as when 2 or more items have the same price. In this kind instance I would like to order the items to my preference. I have spent an hour looking for a library of other ways to use the products ids= and more to the point, the orderby= operator without result. Can anyone provide a listing of these options or a reference to where they can be found?

Also is there another shortcode to do this where the result is a grouping of products that can be ordered in specified ways?

Many thanks for myself and all the others who will have this same obstacle to overcome.

@justan Documentation for the Display Product Attributes can be found here.

You could potentially us the date attribute, which will order products according to the date they were published. Said date can be edited in WordPress, so you could modify the date and time of publication to align with the order you have in mind.

Depending on the number of products you’d like to do this with, it might be a lot of manual work, though. Just suggesting it as a possible workaround.
