Looking for quick image insertion plugin

On a client’s request, I’m looking for a plugin that will either enhance or act as a drop-in for the current WordPress thickbox media manager. When writing a new post, they want to be able to quickly grab & locally save an image from a URL, or upload it, crop & resize it all in one simple interface, quickly and easily.

Does anyone know of a plugin that already does this? If not, I’ll set about developing my own.
