Looking for some help

I’ve recently been asked to build a league website (hockey related) and have been using wordpress to build most my sites for the last couple years as I love it’s ease of use for even the most novice of computer users.

Ideally I would love to keep it this way but I assume there isnt to many public plugins out there capable of running a fully updateable stats program to include league standings, scoring leaders, etc.

Im looking for feedback more then anything to see if anyone has any good website examples already on the world wide web no matter what sport it is or if they have any ideas or suggestions on any potential plugins in the works (or out there) that would be capable of running such a thing.

As is the leagues budget is limited so while I could build a plugin the cost and time for it is not a thought at this moment.
