• I’m hoping someone can help. My boss would like to make a responsive website with nine tiles that make up the entire homepage, no header or footer. The tiles would each link to a site that we own, with a title tile at top center. He wants it to look like this website: https://www.trump.com/

Does anyone know of a theme that does this (preferably free), or a way to do this without much hassle (my boss seems to think a day or two is reasonable for a full website build just because we have a theme picked out).

    Thank you in advance,

    Judah

  • Hi Judah

Most, if not all WordPress themes are designed with either a header or a footer, so I think it would be difficult to source a theme that delivers what you want. At least, I have never seen such a theme.

A theme developer may be able to create a theme specific to your needs, but the lead trime of two-days would be difficult to deliver.

A possible solution would be to create a HTML home page, with tiled links to the other sites that you own? That way, your HTML home page could be created exactly as per your requirements.

Thank you, Mike. That’s not a bad idea. I was looking at WP Tiles and thinking I could use that on a homepage, then just display:none on the header and footer. An HTML page might be simpler and more elegant.

If anyone else has suggestions, I’m still open to ideas.
