Looking ofr a slider that will pull from specific category

  • Hi,

    I am looking for a plugin that will let me display featured content from the 5 most recent posts in a category/archive page…So the slider needs to know what the category is and then go get the last 5 posts info..

    Example- https://www.mydomain.com/news needs to have a slider with just the last 5 news posts, same for mydomain.com/sports just displays the last 5 sports posts

    Is there a plugin that will do that? or a code snippet I could work from?
