Looking to create a directory of people ( 50,000)

  • Is there a plugin that will allow me to create a directory of more than 50,000 people with short profiles. I have all of the data in a csv file and need to find a convenient way to publish this and make it searchable through wordpress.

  • Haven’t heard of a plugin like that. Contact me via email ([email protected]) if you want a plugin developed.

    Getting the data in mysql is relatively easy. You’ll just need a form (search) and display… Look for plugins with similar functionality, copy them and customize. How many bits of data? How many will users be searching on?

    There will be four fields of data that are searchable:
    Name, company, location and specialty. Do you know of any plugins with that kind of functionality?
