    Hello,

I’m looking to create something similar to this website: https://www.kippie.nl/kippiepannen?gclid=CjwKCAjwpuajBhBpEiwA_ZtfhU706KGAMfWQK3D5f1UeBydEJrIorpjqBmJW4NlydkHmtLG4GLwf0RoCjoYQAvD_BwE

To illustrate: Right now the orders are situated at https://www.njoyz.nl/shop, this is absolutely fine. However, people are consistently extremely confused by all the different options we offer online. For example this one:

    https://www.njoyz.nl/product/luxe-broodjes/

People can select a box with different kinds of buns and toppings. The options are:
    – Luxury buns with fish, meat, cheese and vegetarian.
    – Luxury buns with meat, cheese and vegetarian.
    – Luxury buns with cheese and vegetarian.
The same toppings repeat with a different kind of bread.

To me this seems simple enough, but 1: People don’t seem to understand what they’re gonna get. Or 2: They simply don’t read the manual and specifications that are right there on the page (and honestly, I think it’s the latter).

And this is the reason why I want something similar to the Kippie website. So https://www.njoyz.nl/shop has a few categories (say buns, salades, etc) and when you click on said category situated to the left, top, or right, the relevant list comes up. Every product I mentioned before (the luxury buns with different toppings), then has its own place on the page rather than an explanatory text and a dropdown menu after clicking on it. Buying should be possible from here too (and optionally when people click on the info).

Feestpan on the kippie site would be Luxury buns with fish, meat, cheese and vegetarian.
Anti-kluifpan deluxe would be Luxury buns with meat, cheese and vegetarian.
    Etc etc.

    How do I do this?

    Thanks a lot!

  • Hi there @tezartdesign ??

I’m looking to create something similar to this website:

Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help you with this!

From what I gather, you are looking to improve the food ordering workflow, and make it more visual. Correct?

I’ve checked the site’s code, and it appears that the currently active dt-the7 theme has compatibility with WooCommerce, which is good.

My suggestion would be to explore what the WooCommerce Blocks have to offer, for starters. That would give you a nice, visual way to design around your products.

Furthermore, I’d suggest checking out Composite Products. It would help create product kit builders and custom product configurators using existing products.

Another popular way to offer products is in bundles. Feel free to check out Product Bundles for that.

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know. We’re happy to help.
