Looking very good but what can it do without API KEY?

  • I’m looking for a way to import Music Brainz Data on my website instead spending to much time on copy/paste so many informations, before starting to code my own plugin.
    This pluging really does look it can do a lot of good stuff, but without key API, I wasn’t able to get anything done ?? I’ll keep it deactivate to see if any further devs are gonna make thing right.

    The plugin can do a lot without API key !

    Manage tracklists, play them, get remote track datas, scrobble to Last.fm, save favorite tracks, …
    Getting the Musicbrainz data for tracks does NOT requires an API key.

    I decided to release this plugin for free. Most of its feature are.
    I’m working on it since several years, already did 2500+ code commits. Just imagine how much work this is…
    So yes, there is a small part of the plugin that requires an API key.
    I hope this would help me maintain the plugin. Donations are welcome too, of course.
    Things are made right. But that takes time (and time is money). So please understand that your comment might be quite offensive: you just did install my plugin by clicking a button. I spent thousand of hours building it.
