    Just wanted to say I’m interested with the ability to see the categories tree for posts. And not sure if it’s the already case now, I hope it will be possible to slide off the panel when we don’t need it.

    Sorry for the late answer and thanks for the kind words!

    Currently we have no plans to display a categories tree.

    Do you mean the possibility to hide/show the tree panel? That could actually be a feature we can add in the near future.

    Thanks, I found a plugin doing that : Real category management. Quite awesome.
    Both yours and theirs should be in wordpress native admin, it’s so practical to navigate that way but actually it’s not possible to have both at the same time so I activate the one I need when I need it.

    Glad you found a plugin that fits your needs, “Real Category Management” looks pretty neat!

    Yeah we think the same, at least one of this solutions should be implemented as core WordPress feature.
