Looks good, but doesn’t work great

  • Installed the plugin, at first glance it looked solid. But after working with it we discovered too many issues.

    – Conflicts with many plugins and with the theme we use (Avada, one of the most installed theme worldwide);
    – Difficult to get custom CSS to override the default rules, feels like the developer did not want users to be able to change how the plugin looks. In the WP universe users want to be able to customize, bad move there.
    – Modal is not completely on top of every other element (i.e. header).

    Too bad because we were glad to find a good looking GDPR plugin, but this just doesn’t cut it.

  • I agree that the customisation could be better. I found that deregistering the stylesheet and essentially rewriting it as required gave me the perfect front-end output that I needed. In terms of functionality it really is one of the best.
