Hello guys! I’m making a new website to my client, and one of the things they requested was to have a little “most read posts” section at the bottom of the page. This being said, I installed your plugin today, and configured it.

The problem that I’m having is the following: My client updated the website with some new posts today, and the plugin retrieved these today posts as the most read ones. This is a very old website, with circa 15k posts, with material from 10 years or so. Does the plugin just retrieves the most read posts from its installation on, or does it get all the history of the website posts’ hits?

In the second case, is there a way that I can get the plugin to work with the older stats?

    Thank you guys very much!

It picks it from the time of installation.

How are the older stats – in what format.

The plugin has a way to import CSV data and if you can get a CSV with that format then it can easily import the data.

I suggest first exporting the file (see screenshot below), update it and reimport with the older stats.

Hi @ajay ! Thank you very much for your response!

I checked the steps you recommended, but in fact, my website didn’t have a posts hit counter or something like this prior to the installation of your plugin.

In any case, I checked with my client and they are aware that we’ll have statistics only from the installation on, since it was a recent request from them, so everything is ok.

I’ll mark this thread as resolved, and again, thank you very much for your support!
