    Hello,

I’m encountering an issue with WooCommerce variations. When I have more than 4 variation options in a select dropdown, the options lose the attached and enabled classes. This causes problems with how the variations are displayed and interacted with.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? How can I ensure that the attached and enabled classes remain applied to all options, even when there are more than 4 variations?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hello aliaslina,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

Could you please share your site’s link?
I’ll take a look from my end to see what might be causing the issue with the variation options and help you resolve it.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    Hello,

Here you can find the product that I mentioned above: https://alturl.com/f35c9

If you compare witht another product with less varations you can see the difference: https://alturl.com/y2uke

Try inspecting the code and you will see what I am talking about with the select options

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi @aliaslina ,

Thank you for the additional information! Just to make sure we’re on the same page, are you trying to apply custom CSS classes specifically for your variable products?

If so, adding custom code is a bit beyond our scope of support based on our support policy, you might want to reach out to a developer who can customize your products the way you want to. You can find one through platforms like WooExperts or Codeable.

More information about setting up variable products can be found here: https://woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/

    Hello there,

The issue I’m encountering isn’t with the code itself but rather that the class attributes, such as attached and enabled, disappear from the HTML <select> element in the variations after a certain number is reached. Is this a known limitation in WooCommerce, or is there a fix scheduled for this behavior?

    Hi there!

I’ve tested adding multiple variations on my test site, and the attached and enabled attributes are appearing correctly in the select dropdown. Here is the link of my test site. https://shahzeen-testing.mystagingwebsite.com/product/v-neck-t-shirt/

It looks like the issue on your site might be caused by a third-party plugin or possibly the theme you’re using.

For us to investigate this further, can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled and see if this resolves the issue?

If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

    Thank you.
