Losing network connections?

Really struggling here. Upgraded to the latest WP release, and I just added a new item to my menu twice by accident. When I try to remove the duplicate menu item and click the Save Menu button, I am getting a “Network connection was lost” error. I have tried on multiple computers, using multiple browsers…same error.
Any advice? THANKS IN ADVANCE!
