Hi, I am trying to use this plugin and it works great, except on blog/post pages where any of the three options chosen result in the pagination and comments section at the bottom going missing. Any advice there?

I really want to use this plugin as it make the chapters of my book look perfect on the post pages. I need people to be able to choose next or previous chapters though or leave comments about the work.

    Thanks in advance.

Reading that post now, I see y’all might need a little more info. Haha. Running the latest WP version on my Mac, not live yet. I am using the Twenty Sixteen Theme as I said, with no child theme yet. I removed the couple CSS codes I was using and deactivated all plugins just to give this one a chance. All attempts and tweaks still came back to losing the previous and next and the comments and even the “proudly powered by” stuff.

Once again, thanls for any help.

    Hello @locogus,

Unfortunately, the plugin does not support comments and post navigation right now.

There is a discussion going on on Github on adding a template that adds comment box in future versions of the plugin, but for now, that feature is unfortunately not supported.

I know you got the chops when it comes to this stuff, so I am just tossing this idea out there. If it is idiotic, forgive me as I do not speak wordpress CSS or coding.

What if…there was a way to lift the parts of the php that dealt with the comment and navigation and somehow add that in as an extension AFTER the plugin had done its thing, on a child theme CSS perhaps.

I am probably talking through my hat, as I said.

    Anyway, thanks for your time.

It might help to know that there is a WP navigation plugin that works in conjuction with your plugin. The navigation buttons ain’t as fancy as the originals, but by God, they still work.

Perhaps you could take a look at their code and find out whats making that work on top of yours.

    Take care.
