losing URLs in excerpt?

I am experiencing the same issue. I saw another thread regarding the loss of all formatting, and it had to do with an extraneous
“pre” tag, but I am not seeing that in my source. I’ve tried changing the short code to use different ways of getting the posts, but they all lose any anchors.

My output is getting stripped too. All I have in there is an <h2> and a <blockquote> tag… poof gone. An I can’t see any <pre> tag in my markup either.

The URLs and images are stripped because the default loop for Posts in Page includes the function the_excerpt(); rather than the_content(); but you can change this:
