Loss of admin bar when viewing site

    I installed really simple ssl tonight and it seems to work fine, except before I used to be able to click on view site and I coule still see the admin bar across the top so I could flick between the site and the admin dashboard and also access the other functions such as widgets menus etc.when viewing site Now when I view site I get no admin bar. Help please

    Possibly you need to clear the cache in the cache plugin you are using.

    I had activated it the other night but not run the configuration.. as just activtated I could still swtich. now i’ve run the configuration, I can’t. Do I need to deactivate the plugin to get it back? I don’t believe we are using a cache plugin.

    It’s not likely this is caused by Really Simple SSl, but you can revert to http by clicking the “deactivate” button in the plugins overview. You’ll need to clear your browser cache afterwards.

    I’m having this same issue, cleared cache, new browser sessions, cleared cookies etc.

    I also tried with the plugin disabled via plugin settings with no resolution.
