I have a new phone and the process of managing to 2FA is not what I expected. The Google Authenticator app is empty, the WordFence part has been removed. And unfortunately I lost the recovery codes as well.

Please advise what I can do to resolve this issue.

    Thanks, Carlotta

I am using a different Mail for Wordfence Login, not the same I am using here in the forum

    Hi @venus10

To gain access to your site immediately, you can rename the Wordfence plugin directory name. If you are not sure what to do your hosting provider may be happy to help.

Find the Wordfence directory in the file path below and rename the Wordfence directory as below:

    ~/wp-content/plugins/wordfence-disabled

You will now be able to login to WordPress.

You then need to rename the Wordfence directory again to reactivate Wordfence as below:

    ~/wp-content/plugins/wordfence

At this point you won’t see Wordfence in the WordPress menu. Click the WordPress Dashboard menu item and you will then see the Wordfence main menu item appear. However, you may need to reactivate Wordfence on the WordPress Plugins page first.

You can then open the Wordfence Login Security page and deactivate two factor authentication for your account.

We strongly recommend that you keep your two factor authentication recovery codes in a safe place that you can access at any time. Two factor authentication recovery codes allow you to:

    – Login and temporarily deactivate two factor authentication.

    – Setup two factor authentication again or on a different device.

    – Generate a new set of recovery codes.

Hi wfphil, sorry for this but I wasn‘t clear in my post. I lost the access to wordfence central because of changing my iphone. Can you please advise how I can get my wordfence central page back? Thank you
