Lost ?

  • I saved my files and database and backed it up then saved it to my computer. Now I found out that my files are not saved and when I updated to 3.8 had a problem. I had to revert to 3.6 and now there are is no way to get my site back the way it was. Is there somewhere that my information is that I can get to it? Go Daddy is my host and they don’t have it. Or can’t find it. Please help. I will never upgrade again ??

    To clarify, you used BackUpWordPress to backup your site (database and files) and downloaded the backup file, but it’s no longer available neither on your computer nor on the server?

    What problem did you have when you upgraded?

    When I upgraded both my site and my WP administration panel delivered only blank pages.

    Did you disable all plugins before attempting the upgrade?
    Is your dashboard still inaccessible?
