Hello. I have been using featured image in RSS feed for over two years and it has been working brilliantly on my website at https://www.hoffmanofficesupply.com. However, with the update to 4.6.1 I lost the ability to define a featured image in the back end of my blog posts. When I go into the script editing side of my website I can see where the plug in Featured Image is setting up the ability to have an actual featured image, but whereas my other posts have “Featured image <(name of image)>” My latest one only has “Featured image <>”. Before 4.6.1, the option was a window on the right side below my custom tags. It was also able to be toggled from the screen options menu at the top. After 4.6.1 It’s no longer in screen options or on the right side. I was hoping with the new update it would have fixed my problem, but, as its been over 6 months since my last website blog post, I could really use some help. Thank you.

I have images prior to the the 4.6.1 update because I could define them, but my last post was in April, and it does not have a featured image for the reasons described above.

I have tried to turn off all plugins and turn them back on, one-by-one to no avail.

However, your suggestion of switching themes seems like the most likely culprit seeing as our theme was custom-designed by a firm out of Denver. I would love to see if this is the case, but the last time I messed with the themes, our entire website was not lined correctly and the ordering platform was unusable. It cost me 150 dollars to fix and I am worried that this may happen again. It is worth mentioning that the last time I updated the theme. If I were to change themes completely, could I revert back to my custom theme once we find the problem?
