lost admin password

  • hello anyone!
    i have a massive problem for me anyway.by stupid mistake i lost admin password to my website dashboard.was trying to recover through the email its not working.i need help please advice. i am not really familiar with the wordpress and rest of the web design.just basics.please help and advice…

    Several options to reset admin password.
    (be sure you have access to your webhosting account)

    You can easily update your password from the db on wp_users with an md5(password). It will work fine. Once you get connected to your wp-admin. Make sure to change it again to make sure it’s encode the right way.

    thank you for reply.unfortunately this is beyond my skills too complicated.i wish there were an easier way or someone from wp could do that for me.guy who did website for me is no longer dealing with it.
