lost capabilities

Hi,

I am using members plugin and also Geo Directory.

I have lost the ability to assign users as authors of a directory listing and also the ability to assign authors to any post in general.

I have set my capabilities as suggested on this site but still it doesnt work.

I have been using support of Geo Directory and allowed them access to back end to see if they can resolve this but suggested contacting your plugin support to aid with this.
