Encountered just this morning. After upgrading to 0.9.5.2 we kept receiving Lost Connection, Saving Disabled errors when trying to edit or publish new pages or products, and then eventually get a 404 error. We also received a 404 error when going to Purge All at the top of the WordPress bar.

Deactivating the plugin fixes the error right now. This seems like a bug that needs to be fixed.

Currently running WordPress 4.7.1 and WooCommerce 2.6.13; had zero problems until upgrading to W3TC 0.9.5.2

  • What is your php version?

Check your php error log and see if there are errors.

Nothing of note in the error logs.

Closing this thread. Turns out the issue was Object Caching. Too many objects combined with a too-slow filesystem by Bluehost caused the timeout issues.

Not sure why this suddenly became an issue in 0.9.5.2, but if you run into a similar problem this is probably the first thing to try.
