Try downloading WordPress again and delete then replace your copies of everything except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings. Some uploaders tend to be unreliable when overwriting files, so don’t forget to delete the original files before replacing them.

I tried downgrading to 3.9.2, i’ve rewritten 4.0 files with 3.9.2 files. The admin page working but i get same error as show above pictures, content number show on admin page, but does not show in lists.

Ok, but you could have introduced other problems by forcing a downgrade. Try again, but with the 4.0 files.

I’ve replace all old files with 4.0. The error still continues ??

Hm, very strange. Try manually resetting your plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

Hey guys, downloading version 4.0 completely f*cked my admin page… I get no errors on the main page, I just get a permanent “session expired”. What the hell???

Any error message in your server error_log?

May be incopatible the Multilingual CMS plugin with 4.0. I disable plugins and webpage working again but the different language content is lost..

Do you mean WPML? There was definitely a problem with their Media plugin too, though not quite similar to what you’re describing.
