Lost event all details page on edit event.

    We went to setup a new event and there is no event details on the add new event or on the Edit event page. There is all the other sections like layout options, description, slider options etc. but no details section where we add date,times etc?
    Went to our test site where the details were all ok.
    Decided to try deactivating plug in and re-installing but it wouldn’t deactivate at all, but it just stayed the same.
    Tried on the test site and that also wouldn’t de-activate?? De-activated every other plug in correctly, changed to a twety seventeen theme but it still wouldn’t de-activate.
    Tried a different browser, the same
    Tried on a mobile phone, I was able to de-activate but in edit event still no event details??
    So we are unable to add events at all now, can you help please.

    Are you sure you just haven’t closed the Event Detail meta box or dragged it into the side bar?

    There is a useful plugin I use in testing ‘Reset Meta Box Positions’ https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/plugins/reset-meta-box-positions/ ( it does work with current version of WP )

    When you say ‘wouldn’t deactivate’ do you have any more detail – like error messages – or detail in error logs when you try to de-activate – or browser console log?

    Alan, you’re a star, I or someone had dragged it into side bar so we are now able to add events.
    We aren’t bothered now but when we click on Deactivate on both sites we get the box around the link, the link shows bottom of the page but absolutely nothing happens?

    I have spotted something that may be causing that – not 100% sure as I can’t reproduce on my test. But the next release will have some changes that may solve that issue.
