Lost FB URL Numerous Times

  • The last few months the FB url set for this plugin disappears. Also, the plugin is not shown on the left menu of the admin screen. Only fix is to uninstall and then reinstall. This has been happening before the current WP version, not just after the recent update. Either way, babysitting a plugin by uninstalling & re-installing is not something I have time for and should not be a countermeasure.

    thanks for your thread. It′s a very strange issue. Do you′re using any database clearing up plugins? When the plugin disappears on the left menu, the REDUX FRAMEWORK stil is activated?

    Hi Bloodspencer,

    Sorry for the delay.

    When the site displays that the FB url is missing, the admin screen left column does not show the plugin and also the REDUX FRAMEWORK is not seen as well.

    When looking at the installed plugins both the Better Facebook Page Box plugin and the REDUX FRAMEWORK are shown installed and active.

    After deactivating the FB plugin, then reactivating it, both the FB plugin and the REDUX are shown on the left admin column and the plugin performs as designed.
