Lost FedEx shipping method

  • I am so flummoxed with 2.6 and Shipping Zones.

    ALL of our products ship ONLY using FedEx live rates.

    With shipping zones, I don’t seem to be able to use FedEx live rates, and therefore all shopping carts show “no shipping method available”.

    Should I roll back to 2.5? How can I FedEx live rate to kick in on the shopping carts?

    Zones are optional. Your fedex extension should continue to work globally without zones – I know the WooThemes one is tested and works in this manner!

    Thanks for the response. That was my understanding also. However that’s not the reality of what is happening live in my store.

    All shopping carts display the customer address as “rest of the world” and says there is no shipping method available.

    Is there a way to completely disable shipping zones?

    Zones don’t impact the global methods. See if your fedex extension has a debug mode to see why its not returning rates. May be completely unrelated.

    Will turn on the debug mode and see what pops up. However I don’t ship globally. This is for USA domestic shipping from Virginia. We only use fedex live rates as the only shipping method.

    When I say globally, I mean for all customers, not just those within a certain zone. It works as it did in 2.5.x
