Lost menu tabs and access

  • Dear,
    Since the upgrade to WordPress 4.0, I have some serious problems in the dashboard. The website on it’s own runs perfectly.

    I have lost some menu tabs of the plugins, for example: the plugin WordPress SEO by Yoast has now one tab, instead of i think six or more. Also some plugins won’t start, i get the error: “Access denied”. Last week, i tried everything to solve the issues. I disabled all plugins and also a downgrade to WordPress 3.9.2. It didn’t make a difference.

    So, could you help me to solve the issues?

    I think it has something to do with the permissions, or not?
