Lost my mySQL password

When I set up WordPress I sort of blazed over the mySQL part, and now I’ve lost both the name of the database and the root password. Is there a place in the WordPress admin pages where I can get this stuff? I want to back up the database and obviously need the password to do so. Thanks.
