  • When you go into your admin page is the content there?

I think so, there are all the tables there

That is when I access database thro phpMyadmin

No, when you go in through WordPress Admin Panel are the posts and pages there?

Your database is likely not restored properly. I’m a little reluctant to advise you unless you can provide me the details of how you backed it up.

If the posts are in the WordPress Site, which I don’t think they will be, then you could try editing them and then updating them. If you can’t get to the posts through WordPress then there is a problem with the database.

Ok the contents of the posts are not in the WordPress Site. The pages (static posts) are there with their titles template structure and widgets just no html content to update.

I soo don’t want to rewrite my entire website if I can help it.

I backed up database at control panel at i page host. I downloaded onto my hard drive then imported this using phpMyadmin to access my database.

Deactivate all your plugins and see if you get the contents back (delete inactive plugins, if any).

    HI Krishna,

Thanks for that. I have already tried this.

In phpMyadmin I have looked at wp_posts and the content IS there! Just not showing in my website https://www.paradisenz.net

It seems your WordPress installation is incomplete. When I go to your site, I am redirected to https://www.paradisenz.net/wp-admin/install.php. Check it.

Thanks for picking up the slack Krishna, this old guy went to bed.

Looks like you are reinstalling WordPress. As part of the process make sure you have deleted your database (assuming you have a proper back-up copy). I would set up the database in phpmyadmin with the same name and password as before. Then restore your back-up.

Thanks Krishna and Kevin. I am up bright and early!

Yeah looks like I will be starting from scratch! I still don’t know what happened yesterday but I went from having a lively fully functioning wp site to this. Heres the latest from the support console at i page:

” If the MySQL user exceeds the database query limit, which is 75,000 per hour per user, then the WordPress website will be redirected to the installation page. This setting is in place to ensure that the MySQL database cannot be overloaded with to many query requests. The queries will reset every hour and is kept by user; however every time the pages on your website are accessed you are still attempting to make queries to the database server. “

…its been a few hours now and still nothing. I will now do as you’ve suggested Kevin. You live & learn!

If the MySQL user exceeds the database query limit, which is 75,000 per hour per user, then the WordPress website will be redirected to the installation page

If what you posted above is from your host, it is something weird, and basically wrong with their server. It cannot be 75,000 queries per hour per user with only 6 pages on your site, whatever else you may have.

Now your site shows database error!

Mmmmmm agreed. I have dropped database and am now attempting to reinstall WP.
