Lost navigation to plug-ins and widgets after plug-in install

    Just attempted to activate wordpress plug-in Job Manager in a multisite install….Now, wp-admin will not navigate to either the Widgets screen or the Plug-ins screen. Instead, we return to the Super Admin screen, and the url shows “…./wp-admin/?c=1”

    Also, tried to ‘de-activate’ the plug-in by deleting from wp-content/plugins – no dice. Still cannot see Widgets or Plug-ins.

    Suggestions? How can I clear up whatever setting is in the database that is blocking us?

  • Well I guess the plugin doesn’t support multisite then.

    Clear the cache in your browser to get back in.
    you might need to go in the db to remove any cruft it added.

    Found the issue in wp-options, rewrite_rules. Lots of references to Job Manager in there; cleaned it out and all is well.
