Lost orders after restoring from backup

    I recently had to restore my site from a backup, after the latest WP update broke something. Site is working fine now but I’ve lost a week’s worth of orders (5 – 12 September). Is there any way I can see those orders again? I don’t necessarily need to restore them, I’d just like to see the order details.

    I did find this answer (link below) from searching this forum, but it’s a bit beyond me, plus it’s a few years old.

  • You backup would have overwritten the database so they won’t be in there!

    Do you not have the order emails? Maybe your payment processor has a list in their admin panel?

    The only way you could restore those orders is if you have a backup you made before restoring your site from backup.

    Seank123 offers a good option, too – check with your payment processor to see if you can at least see who ordered, although you won’t likely be able to see what was purchased as part of the order.
