• The last password I used is not working. I cannot send an email to indicate my password is lost because I am working from where I work. I am unable to access the site. How else can I get to a point o either access the site or create a new password.

    Try this: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/resetting-your-password/#through-phpmyadmin

You’ll find phpMyAdmin in your hosting account’s control panel.

@marketman32 Since you posted on localhost I want to believe you are working offline.

    Steps to reset password
1: Ensure your local server is running fine, open your browser and access https://localhost/phpmyadmin

2: From the left, locate the database of the site you forgot the password and click on it

3: You will see a list of tables on the right, now look for wp_users

4: You will see all the users on that site, locate the user you want to reset the password and select edit.

5: Now locate user_pass (this is the password area), type in the new password in the last box in front of it and remember to select MD5

6: Click on GO to make the changes.

You should be able to access your site with the new password now, hope it helps.
