Lost password page shows up as expected, can fill the email, but user never receives an email.
When using WP built in password reset page /wp-login.php?action=lostpassword then user receives an email.

  • Hi @rubidze,

I’m sorry you’re having this issue!

Do you receive any error messages when trying to reset the password through LifterLMS? IF so can you tell us what the error is. If not, then the lost password reset may just be sending to the user’s spam folder.

If it’s not in the spam folder then you will want to check that the email is actually sending from the site. You can do so with a plugin like this: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-mail-logging/ that logs emails that are queued to send from your site.

If the email is entering the queue to send then there is very likely an issue with your server either being slow in sending the email or with a limitation on emails that can be sent.

We have more information on email issues here: https://lifterlms.com/docs/a-guide-to-understanding-and-fixing-email-issues-in-lifterlms/

If you could provide us with your most recent system report that may tell us more information on what the issue could be as well.

Let us know if you have any further questions!

    Thanks and take care,

Since I haven’t heard back from you in a week I’m going to mark this thread as resolved. Don’t worry, if you have more questions or still need help just hit reply and let me know!

    Have a great day!
